How To Add A Sibling To Facebook – Social Networking With Siblings In 3 Simple Steps

Some people who have profiles on Facebook do not know that they can link themselves to their siblings on Facebook. All this means is that you can show other people who is your sibling on your profile picture. Below you can read how to do this in 3 simple steps.

Step 1

Firstly, make sure you have signed into Facebook. Then, from the dashboard, click on ‘Edit My Profile’ which is located on the left at the top underneath your profile picture.

You will be shown a page where you are able to edit your basic information.

Step 2

In order to add or remove your sibling or other family member, you must click on ‘Relationships’. To add a sibling, you must then select ‘Add a family member’. Once you have done this, you will then be able to insert the name of your brother or sister into the space available. Their Facebook profile photo will then appear.

You will subsequently be able to select how you are related – say whether the person is your brother or your sister.

Step 3

As soon as you have done this, a request will then be mailed to your sibling in order for them to verify the relationship. Once this relationship is verified, you will be linked as siblings. This means that people will be able to see your relations from your profile page and will be able to click through to their profile pages.

Clearly, it is very easy to add a sibling to your Facebook profile page. Once you have linked up your relationships with other people in your family people will be able to see who you are related to quickly and easily.
